Kevin and Shirley are two lovely, wonderful people and it was an absolute pleasure to be their wedding photographer yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue was the Gipsy Hill Hotel<\/a> in Exeter. We arrived at 1pm (the ceremony was at 3.30pm). The great thing about the hotel is that it has plenty of parking and it is right outside the building. This makes wedding photographers very happy 😉<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bar area has been completely revamped and looks lovely! So much light, and nice light furniture. If the rain had stopped play, photographing inside would have been no problem at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see from the photos, the room for the wedding is bright, light and ideal for a smaller wedding. The Gipsy Hill does have larger rooms, but I have to admit, I think this one is the brightest and best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news was the sun was out, the warmth had returned and the day was about as perfect as it could be. The grounds were well kept and with those large trees, finding shady areas from the harsh sunlight was easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gipsy Hill Hotel laid out a fantastic spread with lots to choose from. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
