Back then we didn&#8217;t need to worry about white space, position of content, colour schemes and so on. Until CSS came along it was chaos on a grand scale. So what&#8217;s changed?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As the internet developed and we could obtain more statistics about user behaviour is became clear we needed to pay attention to the user habits and try to build a website based on their habits and not the designers wishes.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the old bad habits (animated backgrounds, midi file playing in the background etc) have thankfully gone for good but what else do you need to know?
