The weather forecast and wedding photography have a funny relationship. More often than not, the forecast predicts doom and gloom, and couples spend the week leading up to their wedding nervously refreshing weather apps every few hours. This wedding at the beautiful Osborne Hotel in Torquay was another perfect example of why I always tell couples not to panic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Rain was forecast for much of the day, but somehow it never really arrived. Instead, we were treated to lovely light throughout the ceremony and some beautiful hazy cloud cover later in the afternoon that made photographing the formal shots an absolute pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a lovely lesbian wedding at one of my favourite venues in Torbay, and from the moment I arrived, there was a relaxed and joyful atmosphere that carried through the entire day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Osborne Hotel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Osborne Hotel<\/a> has long been one of my favourite wedding venues in South Devon. Sitting proudly above Meadfoot Beach<\/a>, it offers some incredible views across the bay and provides a fantastic backdrop for wedding photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outdoor ceremony area is particularly special. With the sea in the distance and beautifully maintained gardens surrounding the space, it feels private and intimate while still giving couples that wonderful coastal setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve photographed many weddings here over the years, and one thing remains consistently true: the staff are fantastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special mention has to go to Haidee, the wedding coordinator. In my opinion, she is simply the best wedding coordinator in the Bay. Having worked alongside her many times, I know that everything will run smoothly from start to finish. Couples can relax knowing they are in safe hands, and suppliers know exactly what is happening and when. It makes such a difference to the flow of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n
