I arrived as the snow started falling heavier. I wanted to capture the snow in Cockington without there being car tracks and footprints in the snow. As you can see, that really helps set the scene.
I had been there about an hour when I spotted two boys heading towards me and one of them was puling a vintage wooden snow sledge. Never in a million years did I expect to be taking a photo of the scene you see here. That sledge made this photo!
There is more going on in this photo that you first realise. Look closely at all the things that were just about to happen! That is what always makes this a nicely timed photo!
