Mystery flowers appear before your eyes on the grave.

Jay's grave is located on dartmoor and is positioned slap bang in the middle of a driveway to a farm gate. The legend goes that fresh flowers are placed on the grave most nights. Many hundreds of people have camped up there and reported flowers suddenly appearing on the grave. My story isn't one of them. This one was much stranger....

I used to be a CB radio user and about 10 years I was listening to my mates who were going up to Jay's Grave. They went up there in a total of 5 cars. After a few hours up there they got bored ghost hunting and one of them decided it would be funny to pour petrol over the grave and set fire to it which he did. After that they decided to leave.

On the way back one of the cars lost control for no reason and crashed off the road. The people in that car piled into the remaining 4 cars and they were joking over the air that it must have been the ghost from Jay's grave. They stopped laughing when the next car lost control for no reason and crashed.

By now they were a little concerned at the odds of 2 cars losing control like that. While they were trying to understand what was happening the 3rd car lost control and crashed followed swiftly by the 4th and finally the 5th.

5 cars went up but none came back. From that day on I haven't heard of any of them going back up there.
