2021 Photos from the annual Boxing Day ‘Walk in the Sea’, at Paignton, Devon.

Torbay’s MP Kevin Foster joined hundreds of people for the annual Boxing Day ‘Walk in the Sea’. I was asked by the Herald Express to go along and take photos of the day. Here is how it went…

The event is hosted by the Paignton Lions Club. It’s an annual event, raising funds for local good causes. Kevin Foster MP is a regular to this swim and he braved the cold sea well, as did everyone else.

Let’s take a look at a selection of photos from the day…

I edited and delivered over 100 photos from the event. If you’d like a copy of a photo please let me know. All of the photos, for the time being, can be found on this Google Drive Link.

Several hundred locals and tourists watched these brave souls. The impressive part is how many just dove straight under the water. I’m quite sure I’d be one of those who inches in and shivers at every step 🙂

The weather was perfect. It was nice and sunny and it felt much more like a day in May than December. It was very warm and I was wishing I had left my jacket at home.

50% of the sponsorship money goes to the participant’s charity of choice. The remainder goes to the Lion’s chosen good causes.
