Continue readingIt’s that time of year again! Jordan Productions invited me back to photograph the dress rehearsal for their 2025 Christmas Pantomime, but this time there was a little twist; they also wanted a full day of promotional photos and plenty of behind-the-scenes coverage. Having worked with them before, they knew exactly what they wanted, and it was a pleasure to be asked again.
Continue readingIt was great to be back working with Torquay RFC again for another photoshoot. This time the brief was a big one; 65 player portraits, a full team photo, and some action shots of the lads training.
Continue readingWhen you work as a photographer, you get used to things changing last minute. Timings, locations, lighting conditions, it’s all part of the job. What better way to mark this milestone than by recreating one of my very first videos; the graffiti tunnel photoshoot in Newton Abbot?
Continue readingSometimes, photography isn’t just about capturing moments; it’s about the journey, determination, and occasionally, weathering a literal storm to get the shot. A fairly recent event photography assignment at HMS Raleigh in Cornwall was a testament to that.
Continue readingI do enjoy photographing black tie events, gala balls, and corporate parties. When I was asked to photograph the 25th anniversary of a local company, I couldn’t say no!
Continue readingIt has been quite a while since I last went out with my cameras and did a personal project. My Son William is at College and he has a number of friends who he’s done motorbike photoshoots for, but never at night. I wanted to try a couple of night-time ideas and this is how it went.
Continue readingThis is only the second Murder Mystery evening I’ve been to but I wish I’d been to more. This was a wonderful evening of fun, entertainment, food, and drink. Let’s take a look at how the evening went, and what to expect at a Murder Mystery Event. I also took my new Sony A7IV with me and pushed the limits to see what it was capable of.
