I do enjoy photographing black tie events, gala balls, and corporate parties. When I was asked to photograph the 25th anniversary of a local company, I couldn’t say no!

This was a fairly short notice request but as it happened, I had their date available. Wignall’s Kitchen and Bathrooms reached out to a number of local photographers. They loved my style, but also the fact I gave my price, delivery times, and how I would deliver, all in the initial email. That wasn’t what the other photographers were doing, so they picked me as ‘I was easy to know what was what’.

They had specific jobs for me, including; single and couple shots of all 150 guests, candid photos, table shots, cabaret shots, and confetti canon shots.

Let’s see how it went…

The Imperial Hotel in Torquay is a 4-star Hotel located in Torquay, very close to the harbour.

Everyone initially was greeted with a glass of champagne in the Palm Court Lounge and then everyone moved to the largest event room for the remainder of the evening.

The Cabernet was performed by James & Murphy Productions, who were really good at getting people singing, dancing, and joining in with every song. They had a really good routine and I’m still now sure how they managed to change so many outfits so quickly 🙂
