Sometimes it is easy to see if your social media work is being successful (follower increases etc) but it can be difficult to know how your actual posts are doing and which ones are working.
You have a few ways of measuring the success of your work:
- Impressions
- Engagement
- Leads
- Conversions
- Time on site
Using a tool like Google Analytics you can quickly see the results of your work on your website. If you’re trying to bring customers to your site then it is just as useful to know which types of posts are working.
Tweetdeck can give you a good idea if you only have a few retweets but something like buffer can show you exactly how many clicks, retweets, favourites etc a post has had. You can then clearly see what users are engaging in and you can drive more visitors to your site by posting content on it relating to the popular posts.
This infographic from Salesforce does a great job explaining how to measure your social media success.
