I have a lot of Theatre friends and when two of those friends asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was overjoyed!
Chris and Ryan wanted their perfect wedding experience. They chose a very small, intimate wedding with Family only at Cockington Court, followed the next day by a much bigger, Theatrical wedding at their local church hall in Dawlish.
Let’s look at some photos and talk about their big days after…
I’m seeing more people choose to have two different ceremonies. There is one which is more formal, with family, the other is more relaxed with all the fun and quirks the couple want to share with their friends, as well as family.
Cockington Court was lovely on their day. It was a November wedding but the sun shone for us on both days. I have written a guide to having your wedding at Cockington Court if you’re thinking of having your ceremony there.
There are a couple of go-to backdrops for my couples; the church and a stile. Both offer something different and it gives your wedding couple photos a nice variation.
The Second ceremony was in their local village hall. Chris and Ryan are both involved in Theatre (As am I), so this was a Theatre themed wedding ceremony. The hall was decked out with stage lighting and LED lighting. The tables had Theatre themes and there were a number of props scattered around. The big red boots from the show Kinky Boots created the most laughs that night 🙂
