Here are some answers to the most common questions I’m receiving…
I need to postpone my wedding, will you charge me to change the date?
Absolutely not. I will not charge anyone anything extra if you wish to postpone to a later date.
What if the new date is next year or the year after?
Don’t worry. It won’t matter how far forward the date is. The price we set will remain fixed and there will be no hidden extra costs.
What if the new date is already booked by another couple?
If you want to delay until the Autumn you are going to struggle to get all same pieces in place. Lots and lots of people have already re-booked for the Autumn and Winter so it’s going to be very busy. I would suggest aiming for a weekday or Sunday wedding if you’re planning to wed later in the year.
If you’re set on a Saturday wedding and you manage to get everyone else together. You’ll need to contact me so we can go through the options.
What if your sick on our date?
For some reason, I don’t get sick. I haven’t had a cold or flu for years. If for some reason I do get ill, I have back-up wedding photographers I know and trust who I can call on if needed.
Can you financially survive this and be able to photograph our wedding?
Yes. I don’t have all my eggs in one basket but I’m under no illusion it will be tough. I have a part-time job and other small residual incomes. For the next three months, my photography diary has been completely emptied. I’m grateful that I have other revenue streams and I’m thankful I chose the business model I went for.
