Headshot portrait in Goodrington, Paignton.

Jack needed some headshots for an exciting new job he has as an entertainer onboard on a cruise ship. I was happy to oblige…

When you love your job, working weekends doesn’t feel like work. Jack arranged to come to my home studio in Goodrington, Paignton. I knew the kind of shots he wanted and the kind of lighting set-up I’d need.

He needed several shots for use on the cruise ship and to update his portfolio. I took some outside shots, inside shots, a couple of clothing changes to make it look like it wasn’t a single session.

I ended up with 4 lights, 2 reflectors, 1 tea, 1 can of redbull and a lot of 90’s club music 🙂

My favourite of the session was this one…

2 softboxes with double diffusion created some lovely soft lighting. A couple of reflectors to the side and below created some really nice soft shadows on the darker side of the photo. I also had a bounce flash off the ceiling for his hair and a background flash to help separate Jack from the background.

If you’re in need of some headshots why not give me a try. I am more than happy to work evenings and weekends too! See my headshot photography page for more details.
