If you’re ever after a rustic venue, with lovely grounds and close to some nice coastal scenery, the Cow Shed at the Freathy Farmhouse in Cornwall is worth looking into.

Situated in Millbrook, the farmhouse is close to the Devon border so it was an easy drive from Torbay to the FarmHouse. The grounds are amazing and the people there are so kind. You’ll need to like dogs though, they have several, but those dogs are kept out of the way so you rarely see them.

The rooms are very clean, light and airy. The washbasins and many other items in the cottage are as rustic as the wedding areas.

If you’re looking for a celebrant in Cornwall, I can tell you that Denise, from Cornish Celebrants, went above and beyond the whole time she was there. I cannot recommend them enough!
