It is SO incredibly wonderful to be out photographing the things I couldn’t shoot throughout the lockdown. It is also SO nice to be meeting up with familiar faces again. Theatre work is a love and a passion so it was exciting to be able to get my camera gear ready for some rehearsal photography.

Halloween Photoshoot at Berry Pomeroy Castle, based on ‘The Ring’

I love the summer but I have to admit, I do like going on Halloween themed photoshoots, especially when the model is a dancer so can come up with some scary and creepy poses.

The location was Berry Pomeroy Castle, reputed to be the most haunted castle in Britain. I have spent many, many days and nights at the castle. Some find it terrifying, I find it strangely relaxing.

18th Birthday party photography in Torquay, Devon

The weather held off just long enough for Summer’s 18th birthday party to be held outdoors. With 2 marques, a DJ booth, a huge BBQ and a bar, the Barton end of Torquay came alive with music, fun and laughter.

With a mixture of 3 lenses and a flash towards the end, they wanted a birthday photographer who could tell the story of her special day. I used a mixture of wide-angle, portrait and zoom lenses so I could capture the types of photos you can’t get on a phone.
